FlagResponse v1.1 - Author: Crunchy - Date: 08-10-2001 - Downloads: 466
In the middle of a busy fight it's easy to miss a flag being taken and hard to work out who took it. FlagResponse puts a popup on screen every time a flag is taken, the name of the player that took the flag uses the standard Tribes 2 highlight so you can see who it is quickly and easily. For instance the badge would be in yellow, name in white, aliases in blue. Take a look at the screenshot below, bear in mind the popup is only displayed for a few seconds so isn't on screen most of the time.

fpsHud v1.4 - Author: Crunchy - Date: 07-10-2001 - Downloads: 402
fpsHud shows your fps in a nice small HUD. It does the same thing as show("$fps::real"); but you don't have to type anything and it looks a lot nicer. I find it essential for monitoring how my system is performing, you can watch the fps during battles and if your concerned about it you can go change settings etc.

fpsHud is hudmover compatible so I thoroughly recommend you get it from Labrats site. Theres a link in the right hand links menu.

FreeHuds v1.65 - Author: UberGuy - Date: 21-03-2003 - Downloads: 442
If you ever played T1, and maybe even if you didn't, you've probably railed at the fact that the T2 compass, life bar and energy/heat bar are a single GUI object. Even with LabRat's hudMover, you can only move the whole big ugly blob.
Well, I finally looked into it and figured out how to fix that little issue! This script is the result. It creates independant HUDs for the Compass (with integrated radar warning and clock), the health bar, the energy / heat bar, and new, in version 1.1, independant clock and radar warning HUDs. All are hudmover compatible, so you can move them where you like. A bind for "FreeHUDs Options" will apear in your binds list - invoking this will give you an in-game configuration panel that lets you control every aspect of these HUDs. Don't want graphic frames around them? Turn them off. Don't like the sensor HUD? Turn it off! You can even control the transparancy of every object independantly.

ObserverHUD 0.30 - Author: Wizard - Date: 17-07-2001 - Downloads: 471

It does a number of very handy things.
1) It allows you to easily define hotkeys to players in game to observe them quickly.
2) It allows you to observe the lag carriers at the touch of a key.
3) It can auto-observe flag carriers on flag grab.
4) It has an extremely comprehensive list of team and player stats.
5) It outputs the match stats to html file (if you choose) at mission end. Even if you have been playing and not observing! (Great for clanners who want stats on every player that participated!)

ReticleCompass v1.0 - Author: UberGuy - Date: 17-10-2001 - Downloads: 419
I've never really liked having to look up in the corner to see my compass facing. In Tribes. I had a skin that made my compass transparent except for the actual direction markers, and I put my compass over my reticle. With the transparency, it didn't obstruct my view, and I could see my facing without looking away from a fight or guarded door. Now I've created something similar for T2.

This script adds a compass ring - without all the ugly blue doodads - to your aiming reticle. Never have to look away to see what direction you're facing again!

TabMenuHud v2.2 - Author: Crunchy - Date: 08-10-2001 - Downloads: 387
TabMenuHud is a Tribes1-like tab menu. We called it the tab menu as thats the key you used in Tirbes 1 to access it. It had player scores, ping and server commands all on it, very useful. Tribes 2 doesn't have that, it has a score screen and a lobby but it's just not as quick and easy to use. ruWank came up with the concept of taking the player list from the lobby and putting it in a menu. I then helped him finish it off and make the columns and sorting etc work. Even though it's called TabMenuHud you can actually use any key with it. Take a look at the screenshot to see what it looks like.

UberChat v1.4.6 - Author: UberGuy - Date: 21-03-2003 - Downloads: 452
This little script gives you all sorts of customization control over your in-game chat HUD. Among the things you can currently use it for:

- NEW: You can select your own chat HUD font.
- NEW: Now the chat HUD can be set to grow up instead of down only.
- NEW: The chat input boxes can now be decoupled from the chat hud so they can be moved without a full HUD management script.
- You can use it to completely control the color of all the text that appears in the HUD
- If you find the chat text hard to see, you can make it bold.
- You can change the width of the chat HUD, in percent of your play resolution.
- You can enable the color coding of player names in death messages. This makes it very clear which player is a friendly and which is an enemy. The colors used are set by the user.
- If you're like me and don't like the keystroke reminders that appear in canned gloabl chat, you can turn them off!
- So "UberGuy (FT): [VGH] HI!" becomes "UberGuy (FT): HI!"
- Some loadout scripts now send color messages. This can cause a real riot of color in your chat HUD if you're using ColorKills. So you can disable those color codes, making all chat it's normal color.
- You can make your chat hud transparent.
- User defineable number of visible lines to cycle through.

UberFov v1.1.3 - Author: UberGuy - Date: 21-03-2003 - Downloads: 534
What the script does is allow you to define any number of Field of View (FoV) settings and then cycle among them with one key. It makes sure to keep the FoV setting even when you respawn. There is an optional FoV HUD to tell you what your current FoV is set to. This works even if another script changes your FoV.

You can use this script to manage a single FoV. For example, if you always want to play at 120° FoV, just add 120 to the list and you're done. The script will keep you at 120 from then on.

UberTarget v1.2.2 - Author: UberGuy - Date: 19-12-2002 - Downloads: 688
Those of you familiar with T1 will remember that beacons and laser targets had two rangefinding marks on them. This is because, on level ground, there are two firing angles that will get an arced shot to the target. The further away the target is, the closer these two angles are, and when they converge, that angle is the one represnting the farthest shot you can take.

It turns out that even though T2 only provides one range marker on beacons and rangefinders, the Dynamix probably intended in some way to provide both, because there's a simple way to toggle between markers for high- and low-arc shots.
